天主沐以聖神、充以神力、足跡所至仁澤是施、脫人於魔、而賜以康復。以天主恆與之偕也。

是日、法利塞數人來告曰：『其速離此、希祿欲殺汝也。』耶穌對曰：『往告彼狐、予於今日明日逐魔治疾、第三日將畢吾程；雖然今日明日後日、必須奮赴前程；先知固不宜死於耶路撒冷外。

坐中有耶路撒冷人數輩曰：『此非眾所欲殺者乎？

今予語爾以所聞於天主之真理、而爾欲置予於死、此固亞伯漢之所不為也、

予亦知爾為亞伯漢之子孫、顧爾仍欲置予於死、以爾心中不容吾道故。

自此、若輩處心積慮、共謀所以殺耶穌。耶穌亦不復公然行於猶太人中、乃退至郊野之地；入一鎮、名以法蓮、偕門徒居焉。

至是若輩又欲執之；耶穌脫手避去、復至約旦河外、在如望初授洗處而居焉；
