他們就問：「那麼，你行個什麼神蹟，好讓我們看了就可以信你呢？你可以做什麼呢？

眾曰、爾行何異蹟、使我見而信爾乎、爾何所為乎、

曰、爾行何異跡、使我見而信爾、爾果何以哉、

曰、爾行何異跡、使我見而信爾、爾果何行、

眾曰：『汝有何靈徵、使我見而信之乎？汝亦何所務乎？

So they asked him,“ What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

So they said to him,“ Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

They answered,“ Show us a miraculous sign if you want us to believe in you. What can you do?

“ What sign, then, are you going to do so that we may see and believe you?” they asked.“ What are you going to perform?

So they said to Him,“ What then are You doing as a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work are You performing?

Therefore they said to Him,“ What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do?

They said therefore unto him, What then doest thou for a sign, that we may see, and believe thee? what workest thou?

“ What sign then are You going to do so we may see and believe You?” they asked.“ What are You going to perform?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

So they said to him,“ Then what miraculous sign will you perform, so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

They said therefore to him,“ What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. (niv)

But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” (niv)

But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. (niv)

The Jews then responded to him,“ What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” (niv)

Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, (niv)

( His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) (niv)

The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.He replied,“ When evening comes, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’and in the morning,‘ Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away. (niv)

As the crowds increased, Jesus said,“ This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation. (niv)

That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.” (niv)

The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. (niv)

to those who say,“ Let God hurry; let him hasten his work so we may see it. The plan of the Holy One of Israel— let it approach, let it come into view, so we may know it.” (niv)

Also, the altar was split apart and its ashes poured out according to the sign given by the man of God by the word of the Lord. (niv)

Then the Lord said,“ If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second. (niv)

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!”Then Jesus told him,“ Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (niv)

“ Ask the Lord your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.”But Ahaz said,“ I will not ask; I will not put the Lord to the test.”Then Isaiah said,“ Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also?Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. (niv)

Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him,“ Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”He answered,“ A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. (niv)

Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (niv)

God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. (niv)

Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him. (niv)
