Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

耶稣回答说：“信神所差来的，这就是做神的工。”

耶穌曰、信其所遣者、即上帝之工也、

耶穌曰、信其所遣者、即稱上帝之事、

耶穌曰、信天主所遣者、即行天主之事、

耶穌對曰：『能信天主所遣者、斯誠天主之務矣。』

Jesus answered,“ The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered,“ God’s work is to believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Jesus told them,“ This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus replied,“ This is the work of God— that you believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Jesus replied,“ This is the deed God requires– to believe in the one whom he sent.”

Jesus answered them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.

and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt.But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.

And he said, The God of our fathers hath appointed thee to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.For thou shalt be a witness for him unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith:but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law.

For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of me;

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
