守日子的人是为主而守，吃的人是为主而吃，因为他感谢上帝；不吃的人是为主不吃，他也同样感谢上帝。

吃饭的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢后，掰开递给他们。

保罗说完后拿起饼，当众感谢上帝，然后掰开吃。

你们一进城，就会在他上丘坛吃祭物之前遇见他。因为他不来，人们不能吃，他要先为祭物祝谢后，人们才可以吃。你们现在上去吧，一定会遇见他。”

上帝所造的一切都是美好的，若以感恩的心去领受，就无需任何禁忌，因为上帝的道和人的祷告可以使食物圣洁。

所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为上帝的荣耀而做。
