yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

But you refuse to come to me and receive life.

yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

But you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

and ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem! She who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, yet you were not willing!

Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out.

“ This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is what the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see and stand up, and princes will bow down, because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel— and He has chosen you.”

He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him.

Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal of approval on Him.”

Why was no one there when I came? Why was there no one to answer when I called? Is My hand too short to redeem? Or do I have no power to deliver? Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke; I turn the rivers into a wilderness; their fish rot because of lack of water and die of thirst.

Who has believed what we have heard? And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to?He grew up before Him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. He didn’t have an impressive form or majesty that we should look at Him, no appearance that we should desire Him.He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; He was despised, and we didn’t value Him.

Simon Peter answered,“ Lord, who will we go to? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that You are the Holy One of God!”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die— ever. Do you believe this?”

“ But My people did not listen to Me; Israel did not obey Me.

Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.Who among you can convict Me of sin? If I tell the truth, why don’t you believe Me?

How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.

For this is the will of My Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Even though He had performed so many signs in their presence, they did not believe in Him.But this was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to?This is why they were unable to believe, because Isaiah also said:He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I would heal them.Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke about Him.

Both the Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” Anyone who hears should say,“ Come!” And the one who is thirsty should come. Whoever desires should take the living water as a gift.

He sent out his slaves to summon those invited to the banquet, but they didn’t want to come.
