And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,

我為自己做見證，派我來的父也為我做見證。」

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的那位獨生子——神，他將神表明了出來。

這時候，忽然有聲音從諸天傳來，說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。」

就是那獨一不朽的、住在人所不能靠近的光裡，沒有人見過、也沒有人能看見的那一位。願尊貴和永恆的權能都歸於他！阿們。

耶穌回答說：「腓力，我與你們在一起這麼久了，你還不認識我嗎？一個人看到了我，就是看到了父。你怎麼還說『請給我們看看父』呢？

如果有人說「我愛神」，卻恨自己的弟兄，他就是說謊者，因為一個人不愛自己所看到的弟兄，就不能愛沒有看到的神。

願尊貴和榮耀歸於那萬世之王，就是那不朽壞的、不可見的、獨一的神，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

有關生命之道，是從太初就有的，是我們所聽到、所親眼看到、所觀察過、又親手摸過的——的確，這生命已經顯明出來；我們看到了，現在也做見證，並向你們宣揚這永恆的生命；這生命原來與父同在、又向我們顯明出來了。

彼得還在說話的時候，忽然有一朵燦爛的雲彩籠罩了他們，看哪，有聲音從雲中出來，說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。你們當聽從他！」

不要為那會腐敗的食物做工，而要為那存留到永生的食物做工。這食物就是人子要給你們的，因為人子是父神所印證的。」

如果我沒有在他們當中做別人從未做過的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們雖然看到了，還是恨我和我的父。
