神是我们的避难所和力量，是患难中随时可得的帮助，

这时候，来了一个名叫睚鲁的人，他是一个会堂主管。他俯伏在耶稣脚前，恳求耶稣到他家里去，

过了些日子，耶稣又进了迦百农。人们听说他在房子里，许多人就聚集，甚至连门前都没有空处了。于是耶稣就向他们讲道。这时候，一些人带了一个瘫痪的人来到耶稣那里，是被四个人抬来的；

他一听说是拿撒勒人耶稣，就开始呼叫说：“大卫的后裔——耶稣，可怜我吧！”

利达离约帕不远，门徒们听说彼得在利达，就派了两个人到他那里，恳求他说：“请你来到我们这里，不要耽延！”

玛丽亚到了耶稣那里，一看见他，就俯伏在他的脚前，说：“主啊，如果你早在这里，我弟弟就不会死了。”

人们跑遍那整个地区，听到耶稣在哪里，就把有病的人用垫子抬到哪里。无论耶稣进到哪里，或村庄、或城镇、或乡下，人们就把病人放在街市上，恳求耶稣只要让他们摸一下他的衣服穗子。凡是摸着的人，都得了救治。

玛妲对耶稣说：“主啊，如果你早在这里，我弟弟就不会死了。

于是耶稣与他们一起去了。当耶稣离他家不远的时候，百夫长又托了几个朋友来对耶稣说：“主啊，不用麻烦了，我实在不配请你进我家，我自己也觉得不配到你那里去。只要你说一句话，我的仆人就会痊愈的。事实上，我也被放在人的权下，也有士兵在我之下。我对这个说‘去’，他就去；对那个说‘来’，他就来；对我的奴仆说‘做这事’，他就去做。”
