第三天，在加利利的迦拿有婚筵，耶稣的母亲在那里；耶稣和门徒也被邀请参加婚筵。酒用尽了，耶稣的母亲对他说：“他们没有酒了。”耶稣说：“母亲（“母亲”原文作“妇人”），我跟你有什么关系呢？我的时候还没有到。”他母亲告诉仆人说：“他吩咐你们什么，就作什么。”在那里有六口石缸，每口可盛两三桶水，是为犹太人行洁净礼用的。耶稣吩咐仆人：“把缸都倒满水！”他们就倒满了，直到缸口。耶稣又吩咐他们：“现在舀出来，送给筵席的总管！”他们就送去了。总管尝了那水变的酒，不知道是从哪里来的，只有舀水的仆人知道。总管就叫新郎来，对他说：“人人都是先摆上好酒，等到亲友喝够了，才摆上次等的，你倒把好酒留到现在。”这是耶稣所行的第一件神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的。他显出了自己的荣耀，他的门徒就信了他。

神击杀他们的时候，他们就寻求他；他们回转过来，切切求问神。

在患难的日子，你呼求我。我必搭救你，你也必尊敬我。”

耶稣和门徒来到群众那里，有一个人前来，跪下对耶稣说：“主啊，可怜我的儿子吧，他患了癫痫病，非常痛苦，好几次掉进火里和水中。

到义伯仑、利合、哈们、加拿，直到西顿大城；

因为他的独生女，约十二岁，快要死了。耶稣去的时候，群众拥挤着他。

耶稣对他们说话的时候，有一位会堂的主管走来跪在他面前，说：“我的女儿刚死了，但请你来按手在她身上，她必活过来。”

当时西门．彼得、称为“双生子”的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子，和另外两个门徒都聚在一起。

我要回到自己的地方去；直到他们承认自己的罪过，寻求我的面。在痛苦中必恳切寻求我。”

有一个迦南的妇人从那地区出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！我的女儿被鬼附得很苦。”

有百夫长所重用的一个奴仆，病得快要死了。
