當逾越節的時候、耶穌在耶路撒冷過節；節期之中，有許多見他所行的神迹，便信了他的名。

『一年三次你所有的男丁都要朝見永恆主你的上帝，在他所要選擇的地方、當除酵節七七節住棚節的時候朝見他；可不要空手朝見永恆主；

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：『老師，我們知道你是從上帝那裏來做教師的；因為一個人、若不是上帝與他同在，就不能行你所行的這些神迹。』

猶太人的逾越節近了，耶穌就上耶路撒冷去。他看見殿院裏有賣牛羊鴿子的跟換錢幣的坐在那裏，就拿繩子做鞭子，把羊和牛都趕出殿院去；將兌換銀錢的人的錢幣倒出來，把桌子翻倒了。又對賣鴿子的說：『把這些東西拿走，別將我父的殿當作買賣的房屋了。』

那裏的人卻不接待他，因為他面向着耶路撒冷走去。

耶穌回來的時候，羣眾歡迎他；大家都等待着他。

當他十二歲的時候、他們就按節期的規矩上去。日子滿了、他們回來的時候、孩子耶穌還留頓在耶路撒冷；他父母並不知道；以為他在同行的人中間；走了一天的路程，才在親戚和熟識的人中間尋找他。

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。他的名聲傳出去，到了全敍利亞；人把一切有病的、給各種疾病疼痛困迫的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的、都帶了來；耶穌都治好了他們。
