那被撒上种子的‘岩石地’是这样的人：他听了这话语，立刻怀着喜乐的心接受了它；只是他里面没有根而不能持久，一旦为这话语受患难或逼迫，他立刻就放弃了。

你相信神只有一位，你就做得很好！连鬼魔也相信，并且恐惧战兢。唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？

因为在基督耶稣里，受割礼或不受割礼都没有用处，只有藉着爱行出来的信仰才有用处。

那被撒上话语的‘岩石地’是这样一些人：他们一旦听了这话语，就立刻怀着喜乐的心接受了它；可是他们里面没有根而不能持久，一旦为这话语受患难或逼迫，他们立刻就放弃了。

不过甚至是首领当中也有许多信耶稣的。但是为了法利赛人的缘故，他们不敢承认，免得被赶出会堂，这是因为他们喜爱人的荣耀，胜过喜爱神的荣耀。

犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣上耶路撒冷去。
