They went up to him again and again. They kept saying,“ We honor you, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

又挨近他，说：“恭喜，犹太人的王啊！”他们就用手掌打他。

又走到他面前，说：“万岁，犹太人的王！”他们就打他耳光。

他们不断地来到他面前说：“万岁，犹太人的王！”又不住地用手掌打他。

共趨其前而呼曰：『猶太人王萬歲！』乃批其頰。

and went up to him again and again, saying,“ Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

And they kept coming up to him and saying,“ Hail, king of the Jews!” and were slapping his face.

and they repeatedly came up to Him and said,“ Hail, King of the Jews!” and slapped Him in the face again and again.

Then they said,“ Hail, King of the Jews!” And they struck Him with their hands.

and they came unto him, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they struck him with their hands.

And they repeatedly came up to Him and said,“ Hail, King of the Jews!” and were slapping His face.

And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.

They came up to him again and again and said,“ Hail, king of the Jews!” And they struck him repeatedly in the face.

They kept saying,“ Hail, King of the Jews!” and they kept slapping him.

Then they twisted thorns together to make a crown. They placed it on his head. They put a stick in his right hand. Then they fell on their knees in front of him and made fun of him.“ We honor you, king of the Jews!” they said.

Pilate had a notice prepared. It was fastened to the cross. It read, jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.Many of the Jews read the sign. That’s because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. And the sign was written in the Aramaic, Latin and Greek languages.The chief priests of the Jews argued with Pilate. They said,“ Do not write‘ The King of the Jews.’ Write that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”Pilate answered,“ I have written what I have written.”

The angel greeted her and said,“ The Lord has blessed you in a special way. He is with you.”

Then Pilate went back inside the palace. He ordered Jesus to be brought to him. Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

When Jesus said that, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face.“ Is this any way to answer the high priest?” he asked.

So Judas went to Jesus at once. He said,“ Greetings, Rabbi!” And he kissed him.
