然后对门徒说：“看啊，她是你的母亲。”从那天起，那个门徒就把她接到自己家里去了。

又对那门徒说：“看，你的母亲！”从此，那门徒就接她到自己家里去了。

次謂徒曰：『此汝母也！』是後徒乃迎養於其家。

看啊！时候快到了，现在就是，你们将要分散，各自回家，只留下我一人。不过，我并非一人，因为父与我在一起。

祂来到自己的地方，自己的人却不接纳祂。

对待年长的妇女要情同母亲；对待青年女子要心思纯正，视她们如姊妹。要敬重和帮助那些真正有需要的寡妇。如果寡妇有儿孙，就要叫她们的儿孙在家中学习尽孝道，奉养她们，以报答养育之恩，这是上帝所悦纳的。

耶稣说：“谁是我的母亲？谁是我的兄弟？”祂伸出手来指着门徒说：“你们看！这些人就是我的母亲和我的兄弟。凡遵行我天父旨意的人都是我的弟兄、姊妹和母亲。”

所以，孩子们啊，不要单在口头上说爱人，总要以真诚的行动表现出来。这样，我们必知道自己属于真理，即使我们心中自责，也可以在上帝面前心安，因为上帝比我们的心大，祂知道一切。

然后祂望着周围坐着的人说：“看啊！我的母亲、我的弟兄在这里。

这样看来，不是你们，是上帝把我送到这里的。祂使我成为法老的宰相，管理他的家和整个埃及。

“王会回答说，‘我实在告诉你们，你们帮助我最卑微的一个弟兄，就是帮助我了。’

约瑟按各家人口提供粮食给父亲、弟兄及其他家人。
