西门·彼得向耶稣所爱的那个门徒点头示意，让他问耶稣到底是谁要出卖祂。那门徒坐在耶稣旁边，

耶稣说：“妇人，这跟你我有什么相干？我的时候还没有到。”

她赶快跑去告诉西门·彼得和耶稣所爱的那个门徒，说：“有人把主从坟墓里搬走了，不知放到哪里去了。”

耶稣所爱的那个门徒对彼得说：“是主！”那时西门·彼得赤着身子，一听见是主，立刻束上外衣，跳进海里。

彼得转身看见耶稣所爱的那个门徒跟在后面，就是吃最后的晚餐时靠在耶稣身边问“主啊！是谁要出卖你？”的那个门徒。

为这些事做见证、记录这些事的就是那个门徒，我们都知道他的见证是真实的。
