When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement( which in Aramaic is Gabbatha).

你們愚昧無知，行在黑暗中，大地的根基搖動。我曾說你們都是神，都是至高者的兒子，但你們要跟世人一樣死去，像人間的王侯一樣滅亡。」

懼怕人的必自陷網羅，信靠耶和華的必安穩。

「我在收割前三個月停止降雨。我在一座城降雨，在另一座城不降雨；我使一塊田有雨水的滋潤，另一塊田因無雨而乾裂。

耶路撒冷靠近羊門的地方有一個水池，希伯來話叫畢士大，池邊有五條走廊，

但彼得和約翰答道：「要我們聽從你們而不聽從上帝，這在上帝看來合理嗎？你們自己想想吧。

我告訴你們應該懼怕誰，要懼怕上帝——祂有權終結人的生命，並把人丟在地獄裡。是的，我告訴你們，要懼怕祂！

耶和華說：「安慰你們的是我，是我。你為什麼要害怕難逃一死、生命如草芥的世人呢？難道你忘記了創造你、鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地根基的耶和華嗎？難道因為試圖毀滅你的欺壓者大發怒氣，你就整天驚恐不安嗎？他們的怒氣如今在哪裡呢？

「你們懼怕誰，以致對我說謊，不把我放在心上，忘記我？你們不再敬畏我，是因為我長期沉默嗎？

你們做官長的主持公道嗎？你們的審判公正嗎？不，你們心中圖謀不義，你們在地上行兇作惡。

彼拉多聽了這話，更加害怕，

藉律例製造不幸的首領，豈能與你聯盟？他們結黨攻擊義人，殘害無辜。

若你在某地看見窮人受欺壓，公平正義被扭曲，不要震驚，因為官上有官，在眾官之上還有更高的官。
