彼得远远地跟着耶稣，直到大祭司的官邸，和差役一同坐着烤火。

我决不与奸诈的人同坐，也不和虚伪的人来往。我恨恶恶人的聚会，也不与作恶的同坐。耶和华啊！我要洗手表明无辜，才来绕着你的祭坛行走；好使我发出称谢的声音，述说你一切奇妙的作为。耶和华啊！我喜爱你住宿的殿，你荣耀居住的地方。求你不要把我的性命和罪人一同除掉，也不要把我的生命和流人血的人一起消灭。他们的手中有恶计，他们的右手充满贿赂。

我的灵啊，不可加入他们的阴谋；我的心啊，不可参与他们的集会，因为他们在怒中杀人，任意砍断牛的腿筋。

有福的人：不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐好讥笑的人的座位。

西门．彼得仍然站在火旁取暖。有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得否认说：“我不是。”

与智慧人同行的，必得智慧；与愚昧人为友的，必受亏损。

不要参与暗昧无益的事，倒要把它揭露出来，因为他们暗中所作的事，连提起来也是羞耻的。

基督和彼列（“彼列”是撒但的别名）怎能和谐呢？信的和不信的有什么联系呢？神的殿和偶像怎能协调呢？我们就是永生神的殿，正如神说：“我要住在他们中间，在他们中间来往；我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。”所以，“主说：你们要从他们中间出来，和他们分开，不可触摸不洁净的东西，我就收纳你们。”

你们不要自欺，“滥交朋友是会败坏品德的。”

彼得和约翰被释放了之后，回到自己的人那里去，把祭司长和长老说的一切，都告诉他们。

他们上了岸，就看见那里有一堆炭火，上面有鱼有饼。

他在那里进了一个洞，就在洞里过夜。耶和华的话临到他，说：“以利亚啊，你在这里干什么？”
