The woman asked Peter,“ You’re not one of that man’s disciples, are you?”“ No,” he said,“ I am not.”

那看门的使女对彼得说：“你不也是这人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”

那看门的使女对彼得说：“你不也是这人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”

那看门的使女对彼得说：“你不也是这人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”

看门的女仆问彼得：“你不也是这个人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”

那看门的婢女对彼得说：“你不也是这个人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”

那看门的女仆问彼得：“你不也是这个人的门徒吗？”彼得说：“我不是。”

那看門的使女對彼得說：「你不也是這人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」

那看門的使女對彼得說：「你不也是這人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」

那看門的使女對彼得說：「你不也是這人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」

看門的女僕問彼得：「你不也是這個人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」

那看門的婢女對彼得說：“你不也是這個人的門徒嗎？”他說：“我不是。”

那看門的使女就對彼得說：『你不也是這人的一個門徒麼？』彼得說：『我不是。』

那看門的女僕問彼得：「你不也是這個人的門徒嗎？」彼得說：「我不是。」

婢謂彼得曰、爾亦斯人之徒乎、曰非也、

女司門語彼得曰、爾亦斯人之徒歟、曰非也、

守門之女謂彼得曰、爾亦斯人之門徒乎、曰、非也、

司閽婦乃問伯鐸祿曰：『汝亦斯人之徒歟？』對曰：『非也！』

“ You aren’t one of this man’s disciples too, are you?” she asked Peter. He replied,“ I am not.”

She asked Peter,“ You aren’t one of Jesus’ disciples too, are you?”“ I am not,” he replied.

The servant girl at the door said to Peter,“ You also are not one of this man’s disciples, are you?” He said,“ I am not.”

Then the servant girl who was the doorkeeper said to Peter,“ You aren’t one of this man’s disciples too, are you?”“ I am not,” he said.

Then the slave woman who was the doorkeeper* said to Peter,“ You are not also one of this Man’s disciples, are you?” He* said,“ I am not.”

Then the servant girl who kept the door said to Peter,“ You are not also one of this Man’s disciples, are you?” He said,“ I am not.”

The maid therefore that kept the door saith unto Peter, Art thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not.

Then the slave girl who was the doorkeeper said to Peter,“ You aren’t one of this man’s disciples too, are you?”“ I am not!” he said.

Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also[ one] of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not.

The girl who was the doorkeeper said to Peter,“ You’re not one of this man’s disciples too, are you?” He replied,“ I am not.”

Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter,“ Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said,“ I am not.”

Meanwhile, Peter was in the courtyard below. One of the servant girls who worked for the high priest came byand noticed Peter warming himself at the fire. She looked at him closely and said,“ You were one of those with Jesus of Nazareth.”But Peter denied it.“ I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said, and he went out into the entryway. Just then, a rooster crowed.

So they arrested him and led him to the high priest’s home. And Peter followed at a distance.

“ I told you that I Am he,” Jesus said.“ And since I am the one you want, let these others go.”

“ Jesus the Nazarene,” they replied.“ I Am he,” Jesus said.( Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.)

Peter declared,“ Even if everyone else deserts you, I will never desert you.”

Meanwhile, as Simon Peter was standing by the fire warming himself, they asked him again,“ You’re not one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it, saying,“ No, I am not.”

Peter had to stay outside the gate. Then the disciple who knew the high priest spoke to the woman watching at the gate, and she let Peter in.

Meanwhile, Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. A servant girl came over and said to him,“ You were one of those with Jesus the Galilean.”But Peter denied it in front of everyone.“ I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.

After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” Peter replied,“ you know I love you.”“ Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

A servant girl noticed him in the firelight and began staring at him. Finally she said,“ This man was one of Jesus’ followers!”But Peter denied it.“ Woman,” he said,“ I don’t even know him!”

He knocked at the door in the gate, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to open it.
