撒拉曰、上帝使我粲然而笑、聞者將與我粲然而笑。又曰、夫年邁矣、而我從之以誕育越在疇昔、孰能預告亞伯拉罕曰、撒拉將哺子乎。

懷妊生子、曰、上帝已洒我恥矣。乃命名約瑟、曰、耶和華必復賜子。

耶和華與、民罹禍患、望爾眷佑、既受扑責、則柔聲下氣、以祈求爾、若婦臨產號呼、劬勞不勝、我儕受爾督責、亦若是。譬諸懷妊、亦甚艱難、而所產惟風、我不得拯救斯邦、民不能免於艱苦、

郇邑之民、果為勞苦、若婦臨產、蓋爾將出邑居野、至於巴比倫、在彼我耶和華將救爾出於敵手、

婦曰、我主與、昔有婦立於此旁、禱告耶和華、我可指爾生命以誓、我即此婦。我為生子祈禱、蒙耶和華俯允我祈。
