This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

When you bear a lot of fruit, it brings glory to my Father. It shows that you are my disciples.

By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

遂謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆於我道、則誠我徒也、

主賜種與播者、賜糧與食者、所賜者將倍爾所播之種、增爾行義之實、俾爾凡事富有、得以博施、致人由我儕而謝上帝、蓋此供事之役、不第補聖徒之空乏、且因感謝之多、而得充裕也、由此役驗爾、以爾承順基督福音、博施於彼、且及於眾、歸榮上帝、亦以上帝在爾中之厚恩、戀慕乎爾、為爾祈禱、感謝上帝、以其恩賜言不能罄也、

義人必暢茂如椶樹、生長如利巴嫩之香柏兮、植於耶和華室、盛於我上帝院兮、暮年猶結其實、汁滿而色青兮、以彰耶和華之正直、彼乃我之磐石、無有不義兮、

我為葡萄樹、爾為枝、恆在我中、我亦在彼中者、則結實孔繁、蓋外乎我、爾無能為也、

或宣道則依上帝之詔、或執事則依上帝所賜之能、致上帝由耶穌基督凡事受榮、願榮與權歸之、爰及世世、阿們、○

惟爾當愛爾敵、而善待之、貸於人而不絕望、則爾賞大矣、且爾將為至上者之子、蓋彼施仁於辜恩及不善者矣、

爾之民俱為義人、承斯土以為恆業、我栽之、手造之、以彰我榮、

凡在錫安哀悼者、賜以花冠、代其灰塵、沃以喜樂之膏、代其悲傷、被以頌美之服、代其憂戚、俾稱為義樹、乃耶和華所植、以彰其榮、

爾若相愛、則人皆識爾為我徒也、○

毋私取、惟表其忠、俾凡事修明我救者上帝之道、

於異邦宜正爾行、使素謗爾為惡者見之、則榮上帝於眷顧之日、

登山取木、以建斯室、我則悅之而獲榮、耶和華言之矣、

貞正、清潔、善良、操作於家、服從其夫、免上帝之道見謗、

蓋爾以值見購、故當以身榮上帝焉、

如是、爾或食或飲、凡所為者、皆以榮上帝而為之、

惟我語汝、敵爾者愛之、窘逐爾者、為之祈禱、
