你們如果住在我裡面，而我的話也住在你們裡面，那麼，凡是你們所願的，當祈求，就將為你們成就。

你要以耶和華為樂，他就把你心裡所求的賜給你。

你們奉我的名無論求什麼，我將行這事，好使父藉著子得榮耀。

不是你們揀選了我，而是我揀選了你們，並指派了你們，好使你們去，讓你們結出果子，而且使你們的果子長存。這樣，你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼，他就會賜給你們。

在那一天，你們什麼也不會問我了。「我確確實實地告訴你們：你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼，他都將賜給你們。

「不斷祈求吧，就會給你們；不斷尋找吧，就會找到；不斷敲門吧，就會為你們開門。

所以我說：你們應當順著聖靈行走，這樣就絕不會去滿足肉體的欲望了；

至於你們，你們從那一位所領受的恩膏住在你們裡面，這樣你們就不需要人來教導你們。其實，就像他的恩膏在一切事上所教導你們的——是真實的，不是虛假的——又像他曾經所教導的，你們要住在他裡面。

惡人所懼怕的必臨到他，義人所渴望的必蒙應允。

孩子們哪，我寫了信給你們，因為你們已經認識了父；父老們哪，我寫了信給你們，因為你們已經認識了從太初就有的那一位；年輕人哪，我寫了信給你們，因為你們是強壯的，神的話語住在你們裡面，你們也已經勝過了那惡者。

你們要讓基督的話語豐豐富富地住在你們裡面，要用一切的智慧彼此教導、勸誡，懷著感恩的心，以詩篇、聖詩、屬靈的詩歌來歌頌神。

父親指教我，對我說：「你的心要持定我的話語，你當遵守我的誡命，就得以存活！

我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的後裔。可是你們想要殺我，因為你們裡面容不下我的話語。

我將你的話語珍藏在我心裡，免得我對你犯罪。

如果你這樣做，你的光就必噴薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康復；你的公義必行在你前面，耶和華的榮耀必作你的後盾；

他是在監護人和管家之下，直到父親所預定的時候來到。
