Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;and in your knowledge self- control; and in your self- control patience; and in your patience godliness;and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Wherefore I shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with you.And I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there was borne such a voice to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased:and this voice we ourselves heard borne out of heaven, when we were with him in the holy mount.

being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Not that I seek for the gift; but I seek for the fruit that increaseth to your account.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.

And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none.And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground?And he answering saith unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:and if it bear fruit thenceforth, well; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.

And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.

But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.

unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.

which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another.

And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ?

They feed on the sin of my people, and set their heart on their iniquity.
