Remember what I told you:‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

Remember what I told you. I said,‘ A slave is not more important than his master.’( John 13:16) If people hated me and tried to hurt me, they will do the same to you. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

其实凡立志在基督耶稣里过敬虔生活的人都会受到迫害。

“我实实在在地告诉你们，奴仆不能大过主人，受差遣的也不能大过差遣他的人。

“学生不能高过老师，奴仆也不能大过主人。

然而以色列人却不肯听从你，因为他们顽固不化，不肯听从我。

这些犹太人杀死了主耶稣和众先知，又迫害我们。他们不但冒犯上帝，还与所有的人为敌，

遭受迫害，却没有被遗弃；被打倒了，却没有死亡。

还要亲手劳作。我们被人咒骂，就为对方祝福；受人迫害，就逆来顺受；

谁相信我们所传的呢？耶和华的大能向谁彰显过呢？祂像嫩芽一样在耶和华面前长大，像生长在旱地里的根。祂没有轩昂俊美的外表可以吸引我们，没有令我们羡慕的容貌。祂被藐视，遭人厌弃，饱受痛苦，历尽忧患。人们对祂不屑一顾，我们也不尊重祂。

于是犹太人又拿起石头要打祂。

“果然如此，希律和本丢·彼拉多、外族人和以色列人都聚集在这城里，要对抗你膏立的圣子耶稣，然而他们所做的只不过是你凭自己的能力和旨意所预定的。主啊，你看他们这样恐吓我们，求你帮助你的奴仆们坦然无惧地传你的道。求你伸出手医治疾病，借着你圣子耶稣的名行神迹奇事。”

哪一位先知没有被你们祖先迫害？那些预言义者——弥赛亚要来的人也被你们的祖先杀害。如今你们竟出卖了那位公义者，杀害了祂！你们接受了上帝借天使所传的律法，竟不遵守！”众人听了这番话，怒火中烧，咬牙切齿。司提凡却被圣灵充满，定睛望天，看见上帝的荣耀和站在上帝右边的耶稣。司提凡说：“看啊！我看见天开了，人子站在上帝的右边。”众人大喊大叫，捂着耳朵，蜂拥而上，把司提凡拉到城外，用石头打他。指控他的人把他们的衣服交给一个名叫扫罗的青年看管。在乱石击打之下，司提凡呼求说：“主耶稣啊，接收我的灵魂吧！”然后跪下高声说：“主啊，不要追究他们的罪！”说完后，就断气了。

因为耶稣在安息日给人治病，犹太人开始迫害祂。

我实实在在地告诉你们，人如果遵行我的道，必永远不死。”

当时祭司长和法利赛人早已下令，如果有人知道耶稣在哪里，就来报告，他们好去抓祂。

于是，他们就拿起石头要打祂，耶稣却避开他们，离开了圣殿。

希缅给他们祝福后，就对孩子的母亲玛丽亚说：“看啊，这孩子必使以色列许多人跌倒、许多人兴起。祂将成为众人攻击的对象，

法利赛人听见众人这样议论耶稣，就联合祭司长派差役去抓祂。

耶和华对撒母耳说：“你照他们所说的去做吧，因为他们不是拒绝你，而是拒绝我做他们的王。

学生不会高过老师，学成之后不过像老师一样。
