I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

I do not call you slaves anymore. Slaves do not know their master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends. I have told you everything I learned from my Father.

The secret counsel of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.

But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind— God prepared this for those who love Him.Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.

He answered them,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.

the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints.

Then the Lord said,“ Should I hide what I am about to do from Abraham?Abraham is to become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him.For I have chosen him so that he will command his children and his house after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. This is how the Lord will fulfill to Abraham what He promised him.”

The revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave Him to show His slaves what must quickly take place. He sent it and signified it through His angel to His slave John,

He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure that He planned in Him

This was not made known to people in other generations as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:

So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.

“ Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her,“ for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father— to My God and your God.”

They inquired into what time or what circumstances the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when He testified in advance to the messianic sufferings and the glories that would follow.

I made Your name known to them and will make it known, so the love You have loved Me with may be in them and I may be in them.

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave— as a dearly loved brother. He is especially so to me, but even more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying,“ Abba, Father!”

“ I assure you: A slave is not greater than his master, and a messenger is not greater than the one who sent him.

“ I have many things to say and to judge about you, but the One who sent Me is true, and what I have heard from Him— these things I tell the world.”

Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing His counsel to His servants the prophets.

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.

Now to Him who has power to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long agesbut now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all nations—
