The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.“ I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ,in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.“ A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.”

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
