多默曰：『主乎、吾儕既不知爾之所往、又焉能識其途哉？』

Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

“ No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said.“ We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Thomas* said to Him,“ Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?”

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?

“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where You’re going. How can we know the way?”

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (niv)

“ You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied,“ how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” (niv)

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand.In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! (niv)

He said to them,“ How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! (niv)

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them:“ Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened?Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember? (niv)

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!” (niv)
