Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

What I’m about to tell you is true. Anyone who believes in me will do the works I have been doing. In fact, they will do even greater things. That’s because I am going to the Father.

“ Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

“ Truly I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

“ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.

“ I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father.

Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

And Jesus answered and said to them,“ Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.

These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

Now the seventy two returned with joy, saying,“ Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!”And He said to them,“ I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning.Behold, I have given you authority to walk on snakes and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.

But Peter said,“ I do not have silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!”And grasping him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.And leaping up, he stood and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

Now she continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and he turned and said to the spirit,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.

But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out.

Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your own bed.” Immediately he got up.

For in the case of many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed or limped on crutches were healed.

to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on any of them.

So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.Now there were Jews residing in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language.They were amazed and astonished, saying,“ Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born?Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,Cretans and Arabs— we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty deeds of God.”

The word of God kept spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith.

and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

Therefore Jesus said,“ For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.

But many of those who had heard the message believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

You heard that I said to you,‘ I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

saying,“ What are we to do with these men? For the fact that a noteworthy miracle has taken place through them is apparent to all who live in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter responded,

Seeing from a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well,let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead— by this name this man stands here before you in good health.He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief cornerstone.And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.”
