侍耶穌後、伏其足下而泣、淚濺其足、以髮拭之、繼而吻之、敷以芳液。

莫使遲延、起、奉其名以受洗、用滌爾罪！」

吾人之心、既已灑脫罪累矣；吾人之身、既已洗濯於潔水之中矣；則吾人尚可不以一片赤誠、沛然不疑、而親近天主乎？

耶穌曰：『已浴者第須濯足、而舉身皆潔。爾曹潔矣、顧亦有例外。』

予應之曰：「公自知之。」渠乃語予曰：若輩來自憂患中、備嘗艱辛、曾藉羔羊之血、自濯其袍、所服皜皜乎不可尚已；
