難道你不相信我在父裡面，父也在我裡面嗎？我這些話不是憑自己講的，而是住在我裡面的父在做祂自己的工作。

關於你們，我有許多要說、要審判的，但差我來的那位是真實的，我把從祂那裡聽到的告訴世人。」

耶穌繼續說：「我憑自己不能做什麼，我按父上帝的旨意審判，我的審判是公平的；因為我不是按自己的旨意行，而是按差我來者的旨意行。

我要在他們當中選立一位像你一樣的先知，我會告訴他該說的話，他要把我的一切吩咐告訴他們。

但這是為了讓世人知道我愛父，父怎麼吩咐我，我就怎麼做。起來，我們走吧！」

我不再稱你們為奴僕，因為奴僕不知道主人的事。我稱你們為朋友，因為我把從父那裡聽見的一切都告訴了你們。

我實實在在地告訴你，我們所說的是自己知道的，所見證的是自己見過的，可是你們不肯接受我們的見證。

耶穌說：「如果上帝是你們的父，你們一定會愛我，因為我來自上帝。如今我在這裡，我不是憑自己來的，而是上帝差我來的，

因為我從天上下來，不是要成就自己的旨意，而是要成就差我來者的旨意。差我來者的旨意是，祂所賜給我的，我一個也不失掉，在末日我要叫他們復活。因為我父的旨意是要叫一切看見兒子並相信的人得到永生，在末日，我要叫他們復活。」

要把所見所聞講給人聽，只是沒有人接受祂的見證。

以下是上帝賜給耶穌基督的啟示，讓祂把將來要發生的事指示祂的眾奴僕。因此，祂差遣天使告訴祂的奴僕約翰。
