Now I have seen the King with my own eyes. He is the Lord who rules over all.”

The Son is the shining brightness of God’s glory. He is the exact likeness of God’s being. He uses his powerful word to hold all things together. He provided the way for people to be made pure from sin. Then he sat down at the right hand of the King, the Majesty in heaven.

I will have mercy on whom I have mercy. And I will show love to those I love.But you can’t see my face,” he said.“ No one can see me and stay alive.”The Lord continued,“ There is a place near me where you can stand on a rock.When my glory passes by, I will put you in an opening in the rock. I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.Then I will remove my hand. You will see my back. But my face must not be seen.”
