答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者得見、見者反瞽、

使其視而不明、聞而不悟、免其悔改、而罪得赦、

孰為瞽者、豈非我僕、孰聾如我所遣之使、孰瞽如我之良友、孰瞽如主之僕、事雖多見而不領會、耳雖開通而不欲聽、

我身虛弱、求主矜憐、我骨戰慄、求主醫治、

我云主歟、我雖獲罪於主、仍求主憐恤我、醫救我命、

曰、我儕莫若歸主、主既戕我、必醫痊我、既擊我、必裹我傷、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

主曰、我必醫其背叛之惡、厚加眷愛、厚加眷愛或作切心眷愛之我向彼已息我怒、

主醫治心中憂傷之人、裹傅其患處、

主曰、爾曹忤逆之子、歸誠歟、我醫爾之忤逆、民曰、主乃我之天主、我儕歸誠於主、

今我見其道我將醫之、導之以行、加以慰藉、慰藉其憂傷之人、我必使其口讚頌我、我賜平康、賜平康於遠者近者、且我將醫之、此乃主所言、

然至今日、主尚未賜爾心能明、目能見、耳能聽、

蓋主使其使其或作聽其剛愎厥心、與以色列人戰、而為以色列人所滅、不蒙憐恤、乃至勦除、循主諭摩西之命、

如是、天主所欲矜恤者、則矜恤之、所欲使剛愎者、則使之剛愎、

其言云、往告此民曰、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、

爾此愚昧無知之民、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言、

我使法老剛愎其心、追以色列人、我則因法老與其全軍而獲大榮、俾伊及人知我乃主、以色列人遂如此行、

人子、爾居悖逆之族中、彼有目可見而不見、有耳可聽而不聽、因屬悖逆之族、○

法老心剛愎、不肯聽之、果如主所言、

是則何也、以色列人所求者未得、惟蒙選者得之、其餘則剛愎其心矣、如經載云、主使其心昏迷、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、願其筵席成為網羅、機檻、礙石、以為其報、願其目矇而不見、其背屈而不伸、我曰、以色列人躓蹶、以致傾仆乎、非也、乃因其躓蹶、躓蹶原文作過失下同異邦人得救、而使以色列人發奮、

耶穌知之、曰、爾以無餅而議乎、爾猶不悟不明乎、爾心尚頑乎、爾有目不視乎、有耳不聽乎、亦不憶乎、

姑聽之、彼乃瞽導瞽者也、若瞽導瞽、二者必並陷於坑、

彼因我愆尤而被傷殘、緣我罪惡而受折磨、彼遭刑罰、使我得平康、彼見鞭撻、使我得醫痊、

於是教會送之、乃經腓尼基、撒瑪利亞、述異邦人歸主之事、諸兄弟大喜、

主之神臨我、因主膏我、俾我傳福音於貧者、遣我醫傷心之人、

主使伊及王法老剛愎其心、追以色列人、以色列人出伊及、毫無畏懼、昂然而出、

如先知迷惑其心、任意出言、我耶和華亦聽其先知迷惑、必舉手懲之、絕之於我民以色列中、

兄弟乎、爾中若有迷失真道者、有人使之反正、當知使罪人由迷途反正、乃救其靈魂不死、且掩多罪焉、

我使使或作聽下同法老剛愎其心、致我在伊及多行異跡奇事、

主曰、誰能誘亞哈、使往往原文作上基列之拉末而殞亡乎、此言當如此、彼言當如彼、

故爾當悔改反正、使爾罪得抹、

蓋彼眾不明分餅之事、因其心頑故也、○

我使伊及人剛愎其心、追以色列人、我則因法老與其軍旅車馬而獲大榮、

攻擊多國、誅殺強大之君王、即亞摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩並滅迦南諸國、將其土地賞賜為業、即賞賜己民以色列為業、主歟、主之名永遠常存、主歟、人記念主、永世無盡、主必為己民伸冤、矜憐己僕、列國之偶像、或金或銀、為人手所造、有口不能言、有目不能視、有耳不能聞、且口無呼吸之氣、造之者與賴之者皆與之無異、

主諭摩西曰、爾至伊及時當慎、我所命爾原文作我所付於爾手諸異跡、必行於法老前、但我必使之使之或作聽之下同剛愎其心、不釋以色列民、

主歟、主手高舉、彼猶不顧、主熱中祐民、願彼視之而愧、主之諸敵、必為火所燬、
