Then Jesus said to them,“ A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.

Jesus replied,“ My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

Jesus answered,“ The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.

So Jesus said to them,“ For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; also, the one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,“ I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

Give glory to the Lord your God Before He causes darkness, And before your feet stumble On the dark mountains, And while you are looking for light, He turns it into the shadow of death And makes it dense darkness.But if you will not hear it, My soul will weep in secret for your pride; My eyes will weep bitterly And run down with tears, Because the LORD’s flock has been taken captive.

But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Then Jesus said to them,“ I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.

While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

“ I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the Lord.

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.Just as it is written:“ God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day.”And David says:“ Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and bow down their back always.”

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Let their table become a snare before them, And their well-being a trap.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; And make their loins shake continually.Pour out Your indignation upon them, And let Your wrathful anger take hold of them.Let their dwelling place be desolate; Let no one live in their tents.For they persecute the ones You have struck, And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.Add iniquity to their iniquity, And let them not come into Your righteousness.Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,

The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,
