Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Mary then took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Mary therefore took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

Then Mary took a pound of fragrant oil— pure and expensive nard— anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped His feet with her hair. So the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Then Mary took three quarters of a pound of expensive aromatic oil from pure nard and anointed the feet of Jesus. She then wiped his feet dry with her hair.( Now the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfumed oil.)

Therefore Mary took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed Jesus’s feet and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.

這馬利亞就是後來用香膏抹主，並且用頭髮把主的腳擦乾的那人；患病的拉撒路是她的兄弟。

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痲風的西門家裡吃飯的時候，有一個女人來了，拿著一瓶珍貴的純哪噠香膏。她打破了瓶，把香膏澆在耶穌的頭上。有幾個人很生氣，彼此說：“為甚麼這樣浪費香膏呢？這香膏可以賣三百多個銀幣，用來賙濟窮人。”他們就向她發怒。但耶穌說：“由她吧！為甚麼難為她呢？她在我身上作的是一件美事。你們常常有窮人跟你們在一起，只要你們願意，隨時都可以向他們行善，然而你們卻不常有我。她已經盡她所能的作了。她預先用香膏膏了我的身體，是為了我的安葬。我實在告訴你們，福音無論傳到世界上甚麼地方，都要傳講這女人所作的來記念她。”

他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個名叫馬大的女人，接他到家裡。她有一個妹妹，名叫馬利亞，坐在主的腳前聽道。

那城裡有一個女人，是個罪人，她知道耶穌在法利賽人家裡吃飯，就拿著一玉瓶香膏，站在耶穌背後，挨近他的腳哭，她開始用淚水沾濕他的腳，然後用自己的頭髮擦乾，又不住地吻他的腳，並且抹上香膏。

馬利亞來到耶穌那裡，一看見他，就俯伏在他腳前，說：“主啊，如果你早在這裡，我的兄弟就不會死了！”

你沒有用油抹我的頭；但這女人用香膏抹我的腳。

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痲風的西門家裡的時候，有一個女人拿著一瓶珍貴的香膏前來，當耶穌坐席的時候，把它澆在耶穌的頭上。門徒看見了，就很生氣，說：“為甚麼這樣浪費呢？這香膏可以賣很多錢，賙濟窮人。”耶穌知道了，就說：“為甚麼難為這個女人呢？她為我作了一件美事。你們常常有窮人跟你們在一起，然而卻不常有我。她把這香膏澆在我身上，是為了安葬我而作的。我實在告訴你們，這福音無論傳到世界上甚麼地方，這女人所作的都要傳講，來記念她。”

馬大說了這些話，就回去叫她妹妹馬利亞，暗暗地說：“老師來了，他叫你。”

你所栽種的是一所石榴園，有極美的果子，有鳳仙花和哪噠樹。有哪噠和番紅花，菖蒲和肉桂，以及各種乳香樹、沒藥和沉香，與各樣精選的香料。

王正坐席的時候，我的哪噠香膏散發芬芳的香味，

你的膏油香氣芬芳；你的名字如同倒出來的膏油；所以眾童女都愛你。

他怎樣向耶和華起誓，向雅各的大能者許願，說：

我的妹妹，我的新婦啊！你的愛情多麼美麗。你的愛情比酒更好。你膏油的香氣勝過一切香料。
