哪一個大呢？是坐著吃喝的還是服事人的呢？不是坐著吃喝的嗎？然而我在你們中間，如同服事人的。

看哪！我站在門外敲門；如果有人聽見我的聲音就開門的，我要進到他那裡去，我要跟他在一起，他也要跟我在一起吃飯。

有一大群猶太人知道耶穌在那裡，就都來了，然而他們不單是為了耶穌的緣故，也是要看看耶穌使他從死人中復活的拉撒路。於是祭司長想把拉撒路也殺掉，

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痲風的西門家裡吃飯的時候，有一個女人來了，拿著一瓶珍貴的純哪噠香膏。她打破了瓶，把香膏澆在耶穌的頭上。

他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個名叫馬大的女人，接他到家裡。她有一個妹妹，名叫馬利亞，坐在主的腳前聽道。馬大被許多要作的事，弄得心煩意亂，就上前來，說：“主啊，我妹妹讓我一個人侍候，你不理嗎？請吩咐她來幫助我。”主回答她：“馬大，馬大，你為許多事操心忙碌，但是最需要的只有一件，馬利亞已經選擇了那上好的分，是不能從她奪去的。”

主人來到了，看見僕人警醒，這些僕人就有福了。我實在告訴你們，主人必親自束腰，招待他們吃飯，進前來侍候他們。

說了這話，就大聲呼喊：“拉撒路，出來！”那死了的人就出來，他的手腳都纏著布，臉上裹著巾。耶穌說：“解開他，讓他走！”

利未在自己家裡，為他大擺筵席，有許多稅吏和別的人一起吃飯。

耶穌又對邀請他的人說：“你設午餐或晚宴，不要請你的朋友、弟兄、親戚或富裕的鄰舍，恐怕他們又回請你，你就得了報答。

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痲風的西門家裡的時候，

北風啊！興起。南風啊！吹來。吹進我的園裡，讓其中的香氣散播出來。願我的良人進入他自己的園中，享用他佳美的果子。我的妹妹，我的新婦啊！我進了我的園中；我採了我的沒藥與香料；我吃了我的蜂房與蜂蜜；我喝了我的酒和奶。朋友們！你們要開懷吃喝；親愛的啊！你們要不醉無歸。
