Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Mary then took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Mary therefore took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

Then Mary took a pound of fragrant oil— pure and expensive nard— anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped His feet with her hair. So the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Then Mary took three quarters of a pound of expensive aromatic oil from pure nard and anointed the feet of Jesus. She then wiped his feet dry with her hair.( Now the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfumed oil.)

Therefore Mary took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed Jesus’s feet and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.

就是這個瑪麗亞後來用香膏抹主，又用自己的頭髮擦乾祂的腳，患病的拉撒路是她的弟弟。

耶穌在伯大尼村患過痲瘋病的西門家裡吃飯，有個女人帶了一瓶極貴重的純哪噠香膏進來，把玉瓶打破，將香膏倒在耶穌頭上。有些人生氣地彼此議論說：「為什麼這樣浪費？這瓶香膏可以賣三百多個銀幣來賙濟窮人。」他們就責備那女人。耶穌說：「隨她吧！何必為難她呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。因為你們身邊總會有窮人，你們隨時都可以幫助他們，可是你們身邊不會總有我。她做了自己能做的。她是為我的安葬做準備，提前用香膏抹了我的身體。我實在告訴你們，無論福音傳到世界哪個角落，人們都會傳揚這女人的事蹟，紀念她。」

耶穌和門徒去耶路撒冷的途中路過一個村莊，遇到一位名叫瑪大的女子接待他們到家裡作客。瑪大的妹妹瑪麗亞坐在耶穌腳前聽道，

那城裡住著一個女人，生活敗壞。她聽說耶穌在那法利賽人家裡吃飯，就帶了一個盛滿香膏的玉瓶進去。她站在耶穌背後，挨著祂的腳哭，淚水滴濕了祂的腳，就用自己的頭髮擦乾，又連連親祂的腳，並抹上香膏。

瑪麗亞來到耶穌那裡，俯伏在祂腳前說：「主啊，你如果早在這裡，我弟弟就不會死了。」

你沒有用油為我抹頭，這女人卻用香膏抹我的腳。

當耶穌在伯大尼患過痲瘋病的西門家裡時，有個女子趁著祂坐席的時候，把一瓶珍貴的香膏倒在祂頭上。門徒看見後，生氣地說：「真浪費，這瓶香膏值不少錢，用來賙濟窮人多好！」耶穌看出他們的心思，便說：「何必為難這女子？她在我身上做的是一件美事。因為你們身邊總會有窮人，可是你們身邊不會總有我。她把香膏澆在我身上是為我的安葬做準備。我實在告訴你們，無論福音傳到世界哪個角落，人們都會傳揚這女人的事蹟，紀念她。」

瑪大說完了，就回去悄悄地告訴她妹妹瑪麗亞：「老師來了，祂叫你去。」

你好像一個美麗的果園，結滿了石榴和各種上好的果子，也有鳳仙花、哪噠樹、哪噠和番紅花、菖蒲和肉桂、沒藥和沉香，以及一切上好的香料。

王坐席的時候，我身上的哪噠香膏芬芳四溢。

你的美名如此芬芳，如同倒出來的香膏，難怪少女們都愛慕你。

他曾向你起誓，向雅各的大能者許願說：

我的妹妹，我的新娘啊，你的愛比美酒更香甜。你身上洋溢的芬芳遠勝過一切香料。
