Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

“我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候；但我原是为这时候来的。

“我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时候’吗？但我正是为这时候来的。

“我现在心里忧伤，说什么才好呢？求父救我离开这个时刻吗？然而，我原是为这个时刻来的。

“我现在心里烦乱，我应该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？然而我正是为了这个缘故来的，要面对这时刻。

“现在我的灵魂烦扰。我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？但我正是为了这时刻而来的。

「我現在心裏憂愁，我說甚麼才好呢？父啊，救我脫離這時候；但我原是為這時候來的。

「我現在心裡憂傷，說什麼才好呢？求父救我離開這個時刻嗎？然而，我原是為這個時刻來的。

“我現在心裡煩亂，我應該說甚麼呢？說‘父啊，救我脫離這時刻’嗎？然而我正是為了這個緣故來的，要面對這時刻。

『如今我的心極為震盪，我說甚麼好呢？父啊，救我脫離這鐘點哦！然而、是為這緣故、我才到了這鐘點的。

「現在我的靈魂煩擾。我該說什麼呢？說『父啊，救我脫離這時刻』嗎？但我正是為了這時刻而來的。

今我心憂忡、將何言乎、父歟、拯我免於斯時、然我為此而至斯時也、

今我心忡忡、何可言歟、父其救我、免斯時乎、我特為此、至斯時矣、

今我心憂忡、我將何言、父歟、求救我免於斯時乎、然我至斯時、特為此也、

今茲吾靈見擾、尚復何言。父乎！盍免我經歷此時！雖然、此事之臨、正為吾完成使命、

“ Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

“ My soul is troubled. What should I say?‘ Father, keep me from having to go through with this’? No. This is the very reason I have come to this point in my life.

“ Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour.

“ Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray,‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But this is the very reason I came!

“ Now my soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

“ Now My soul has become troubled; and what am I to say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

“ Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause came I unto this hour.

“ Now My soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save Me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

“ Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say?‘ Father, deliver me from this hour’? No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour.

“ Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this time?’ But I came to this time for this cause.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto[ my] soul.I sink in deep mire, where[ there is] no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.And he said, Abba, Father, all things[ are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou[ wilt].

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:In burnt offerings and[ sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.Then said I, Lo, I come( in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and[ offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure[ therein]; which are offered by the law;Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done[ it]: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were[ our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

This[ is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Then they took away the stone[ from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up[ his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.Jesus wept.

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
