誰是較大的？是坐席的呢？還是服事的？豈不是坐席的麼？然而我在你們中間卻是做服事者。

你看，我站在門外敲門；若有人聽見我的聲音來開門，我就要進去找他，同他喫飯，他也同我喫飯。

那時猶太人中有一大羣人知道耶穌在那裏，就來，不單是為了耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死人中所甦活起來的拉撒路。祭司長就定意、連拉撒路也要殺害，

耶穌在伯大尼、在患痳瘋屬之病的西門家裏。坐席的時候，來了一個女人，拿着一玉瓶至貴至真的哪噠香膏；打破了玉瓶，倒在耶穌頭上。

他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊；有一個女人，名叫馬大、招待他在家裏。這人有一個妹妹叫馬利亞、在主腳旁坐着，聽他講話。馬大為了許多服役的事而心煩意亂，就上前來說：『主啊，我妹妹撇下我獨自一人而服役，你不在意麼？請吩咐她來幫助我吧。』主回答她說：『馬大，馬大，你為了許多事思慮煩擾；但所需要的只有一件。馬利亞已經揀了好的份兒，就是不能被奪去的。』

主人來了，看見僕人儆醒着，那些僕人就有福啊！我實在告訴你們，他必束上帶，叫他們坐席，自己倒上前去服事他們呢！

說了這些話，就大聲嚷着說：『拉撒路，出來！』那死了的人就出來，腳和手綁着布條，臉上包着布巾。耶穌對他們說：『給他解開，放他走。』

利未在自己家裏為耶穌辦了盛大的迎賓席；當時有一大羣的收稅人、和跟他們一同坐席的其他人們。

耶穌也對那請他的人說：『你辦午飯或晚飯的時候，不要邀請你的朋友、或弟兄、或親戚、或富足的鄰舍；恐怕他們也回請你，報答你。

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痳瘋屬之病的西門家裏；

北風啊，吹起哦！南風啊，吹來哦！使我的園子噴發出香氣，使它的馨香飄出來哦！願我的愛人進入他自己的園子，喫他自己極佳美的果子。我的妹妹、新婦啊，我進了我的園中，摘取了我的沒藥同香料，喫了我的蜜房同蜂蜜，喝了我的酒同奶子。朋友啊，喫吧！喝吧！沉醉於愛情中哦！
