“锡安的居民啊，不要害怕！你的君王骑着驴驹来了。”

“锡安的居民哪，不要惧怕；看哪，你的王来了，他骑着小驴来了。”

“锡安的女儿啊，不要怕！看哪，你的王骑着驴驹来了！”

錫安的民哪，不要懼怕！你的王騎着驢駒來了。

「錫安的兒女啊，不要懼怕！看哪，你的王來了；他騎在驢駒上。」

「錫安的兒女啊，不要懼怕！看哪，你的王來了；他騎在驢駒上。」

「錫安的居民啊，不要害怕！你的君王騎著驢駒來了。」

“錫安的居民哪，不要懼怕；看哪，你的王來了，他騎著小驢來了。”

「錫安的民眾啊，別怕了！看哪，你的王騎着驢駒來了！」（

「錫安的女兒啊，不要怕！看哪，你的王騎著驢駒來了！」

錫安女勿懼、爾王來、乘驢駒也、

如經云、郇之女勿懼、王來兮、乘驢駒、

郇邑、邑原文作女毋懼、爾之王、乘小驢而至、

「西溫女、莫驚惶！伊人來兮、爾之王！爾王安坐驢駒上！」

“ Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

“ City of Zion, do not be afraid. See, your king is coming. He is sitting on a donkey’s colt.”( Zechariah 9:9)

“ Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt!”

“ Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.”

Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion. Look, your King is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt.

“ Do not fear, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

“ Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

Fear no more, Daughter Zion. Look, your King is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt.

Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.

“ Do not be afraid, people of Zion; look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!”

“ Don’t be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me.Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah.And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses are for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as are faint in the wilderness may drink.

And the king said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:

O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion, get thee up on a high mountain; O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold, your God!Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; he will come and save you.Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

And he had forty sons and thirty sons’ sons, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.

And thou, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; forasmuch as Jehovah hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him.And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.And gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ should be born.And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judæa: for thus it is written through the prophet,And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Jehovah, and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Tell of it, ye that ride on white asses, Ye that sit on rich carpets, And ye that walk by the way.

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him a chariot and horses, and fifty men to run before him.
