耶穌聽見後，說：「這病不會致命，而是為了上帝的榮耀，使祂的兒子藉此得到榮耀。」

耶穌說：「我不是跟你說過，只要你信，就會看見上帝的榮耀嗎？」

耶穌說：「不是他犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，而是要在他身上彰顯上帝的作為。

如果你們為基督的緣故受辱駡，就有福了！因為上帝榮耀的靈常住在你們身上。

叫人尊敬子如同尊敬父。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子來的父。

猶大出去以後，耶穌就說：「現在人子得到榮耀了，上帝在人子身上也得了榮耀。上帝既然在人子身上得了榮耀，也要讓人子在祂身上得榮耀，並且馬上要使人子得榮耀。

耶穌說：「如果我為自己爭取榮耀，那榮耀算不了什麼。但使我得榮耀的是我的父，你們也稱祂為你們的上帝。

父啊，現在讓我和你同享創世以前我們所共有的榮耀吧！

耶穌進去問道：「你們為什麼大哭大嚷呢？這孩子並沒有死，只是睡著了。」這些人聽了，都譏笑祂。耶穌讓他們全部出去，然後帶著孩子的父母和三個門徒進了房間。祂拉著孩子的手說：「大利大，古米！」意思是：「小女孩，我吩咐你起來！」小女孩應聲而起，並且可以走動，那時她十二歲。在場的人都驚奇不已。

這是耶穌第一次行神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的，彰顯了祂的榮耀，門徒都信了祂。

父啊！願你使自己的名得榮耀！」當時天上有聲音說：「我已使自己的名得了榮耀，並且還要得榮耀。」

我殷切地期待和盼望：我不會感到任何羞愧，而是放膽無懼，不管是生是死，都要一如既往地使基督在我身上得到尊崇。

耶穌說完後，就抬頭望著天說：「父啊！時候到了，願你使你的兒子得榮耀，好讓你的兒子也使你得榮耀。

你們藉著基督信了使祂從死裡復活、賜祂榮耀的上帝，所以，你們的信心和盼望都在於上帝。

那麼，以色列人一失足就再也爬不起來了嗎？當然不是！恰好相反，因他們的過犯，救恩臨到了外族人，使他們心生嫉妒。

並靠著耶穌基督結滿仁義的果子，使上帝得到榮耀與頌讚。

能講道的，要按著上帝的話去講；能服侍人的，要本著上帝所賜的力量去服侍。這樣，上帝會藉著耶穌基督在一切的事上得到榮耀。願榮耀和權能都歸於祂，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

一切屬於我的都是你的，屬於你的也是我的，我從他們身上得了榮耀。

法利賽人又把那個從前失明的人叫來，對他說：「你應該把榮耀歸給上帝！我們知道那個人是罪人。」
