But others said,“ A person controlled by a demon does not say things like this. Can a demon open the eyes of someone who is blind?”

又有人说：“这不是鬼附之人所说的话。鬼岂能叫瞎子的眼睛开了呢？”

另有的说：“这不是被鬼附的人所说的话。鬼岂能开盲人的眼睛呢？”

另有的说：“这不是被鬼附的人所说的话。鬼岂能开盲人的眼睛呢？”

又有些人说：“被鬼附身的人不会说这种话的，鬼能医好瞎眼的人吗？”

另外有人说：“这话不是鬼附的人所说的。鬼怎能使瞎子的眼睛开了呢？”

另有些人说：“这些话不是有鬼魔附身的人说的！鬼魔难道能开瞎子的眼睛吗？”

又有人說：「這不是鬼附之人所說的話。鬼豈能叫瞎子的眼睛開了呢？」

另有的說：「這不是被鬼附的人所說的話。鬼豈能開盲人的眼睛呢？」

另有的說：「這不是被鬼附的人所說的話。鬼豈能開盲人的眼睛呢？」

又有些人說：「被鬼附身的人不會說這種話的，鬼能醫好瞎眼的人嗎？」

另外有人說：“這話不是鬼附的人所說的。鬼怎能使瞎子的眼睛開了呢？”

另有人說：『這些話不是鬼附之人的話語呀。難道鬼還能開瞎子的眼睛麼？』

另有些人說：「這些話不是有鬼魔附身的人說的！鬼魔難道能開瞎子的眼睛嗎？」

或云、此非憑鬼者之言、鬼能啟瞽者之目乎、○

有曰、此非憑於鬼者之言、鬼豈能明瞽者目乎、

有曰、此非憑於魔者之言、魔豈能明瞽者之目乎、○

或曰：『此非中魔者之言也！魔亦安能啟盲者之目乎？』

But others said,“ These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others said,“ These are not the words of one who is oppressed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others said,“ This doesn’t sound like a man possessed by a demon! Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others were saying,“ These aren’t the words of someone who is demon-possessed. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others were saying,“ These are not the words of one who is demon possessed. A demon cannot open the eyes of those who are blind, can it?”

Others said,“ These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others said, These are not the sayings of one possessed with a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?

Others were saying,“ These aren’t the words of someone demon-possessed. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

Others said,“ These are not the words of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, can it?”

Others said,“ These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It isn’t possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?”

The Lord said to him,“ Who makes human beings able to talk? Who makes them unable to hear or speak? Who makes them able to see? Who makes them blind? It is I, the Lord.

Does he who made the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see?

The Lord gives sight to those who are blind. The Lord lifts up those who feel helpless. The Lord loves those who do what is right.

After he said this, he spit on the ground. He made some mud with the spit. Then he put the mud on the man’s eyes.

Nobody has ever heard of anyone opening the eyes of a person born blind.If this man had not come from God, he could do nothing.”

Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened. The ears of those who can’t hear will be unplugged.Those who can’t walk will leap like a deer. And those who can’t speak will shout for joy. Water will pour out in dry places. Streams will flow in the desert.

News about him spread all over Syria. People brought to him all who were ill with different kinds of sicknesses. Some were suffering great pain. Others were controlled by demons. Some were shaking wildly. Others couldn’t move at all. And Jesus healed all of them.

So the magicians said to Pharaoh,“ God’s powerful finger has done this.” But Pharaoh remained stubborn. He wouldn’t listen, just as the Lord had said.

Blind people receive sight. Disabled people walk. Those who have skin diseases are made‘ clean.’ Deaf people hear. Those who are dead are raised to life. And the good news is preached to those who are poor.

The Lord has made two things. He has made ears that hear. He has also made eyes that see.
