But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.

Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord,They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke.
