Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning.

One friend cheats another. No one tells the truth. They have taught their tongues how to lie. They wear themselves out sinning.

Everyone deceives his neighbor, and no one speaks the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves committing iniquity.

They all fool and defraud each other; no one tells the truth. With practiced tongues they tell lies; they wear themselves out with all their sinning.

我的子民啊，我向你作了什么呢？我在什么事上叫你厌烦呢？你可以回答我。

就是悖逆、否认耶和华，转去不跟从我们的神，说欺压和背道的话，心里怀着谎言，随即说出来；公平被迫后退，公义站在远处；诚实在街上跌倒，正直不能进入。诚实缺乏，远离恶事的人反成为掠物。耶和华看见了，就看这为恶事（“就看这为恶事”或译：“很不喜悦”），因为一点公平也没有。

你因路途遥远而困乏，却不说：“没有希望了！”因为你找着了生命的力量，所以你不觉得疲倦。

这教训是出于说谎的人的虚伪，他们的良心好像被烧红的铁烙了一般。

他们磨快自己的舌头，如同刀剑；他们吐出恶毒的言语，好像利箭，

铁匠先用工具在铁上雕刻，然后在火炭中加工，再用锤子把铁锤成形状，用他有力的膀臂锤成。他若饥饿，就没有力量；他若不喝水，就疲乏。木匠拉线，用笔画出轮廓，用刨子刨平，用圆规画出模样，做成人的形状，有人一般的美丽，好住在庙里。他为自己砍伐香柏树，或选取榆树和橡树，让它在树林中长起来；他栽种松树，让雨水使它长大。

这锅真叫人疲累！它厚厚的锈总没法除掉，就是用火也不能除掉。

“他们弯曲舌头，像弯弓一样；在这地得势的是虚谎，不是诚实；因为他们变本加厉地作恶，连我也不认识。”这是耶和华的宣告。

各人彼此帮助，对自己的兄弟说：“要坚强！”木匠坚固金匠，用锤打光金属的，鼓励打砧的；论銲工说：“銲得好！”又用钉子钉稳了。使偶像不致动摇。

你使你的口乱说坏话，使你的舌头编造谎言。

因为他们不行恶，就不能入睡；不使人跌倒，就要失眠。

他们使自己的舌头尖利，如同蛇的舌头；他们嘴里有虺蛇的毒。（细拉）

你胡言乱语可使人不作声吗？你嘲笑的时候，无人责备吗？

所以，你们要除掉谎言，各人要与邻舍说真话，因为我们彼此是肢体。

看哪！恶人为了罪孽经历产痛，他怀的是恶毒，生下的是虚谎。

众民劳碌得来的，被火焚烧；列国辛劳而得的，终归无有。这不都出于万军之耶和华吗？

那些人虚假的绳索牵引罪孽，又像用车绳拉罪恶的人，有祸了！

他们的舌头是杀人的利箭，嘴里说的是诡诈；跟邻舍说话满口甜言蜜语，心底里却设计陷害他。
