but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.

Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what it is the LORD requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.

But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.

LORD, your faithful love reaches to heaven, your faithfulness to the clouds.Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your judgments like the deepest sea. LORD, you preserve people and animals.How priceless your faithful love is, God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a whirlwind will scatter them. But you will rejoice in the LORD; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

Be gracious to me, God, according to your faithful love; according to your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion.

This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent— Jesus Christ.
