Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.

I wish I had somewhere to go in the desert where a traveler could stay! Then I could leave my people. I could get away from them. All of them commit adultery by worshiping other gods. They aren’t faithful to the Lord.

Oh that I had in the desert a travelers’ lodging place, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers, a company of treacherous men.

Oh, that I could go away and forget my people and live in a travelers’ shack in the desert. For they are all adulterers— a pack of treacherous liars.

If only I had a traveler’s lodging place in the wilderness, I would abandon my people and depart from them, for they are all adulterers, a solemn assembly of treacherous people.

( 9: 1) I wish I had a lodging place in the desert where I could spend some time like a weary traveler. Then I would desert my people and walk away from them because they are all unfaithful to God, a congregation of people that has been disloyal to him.

因為遍地充滿了行姦淫的人；因受咒詛，地就悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了。他們行的路程乃是壞的，他們的勇力使得不對。

『我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女離棄了我，指着那不是神的來起誓。我使他們飽足，他們竟行姦淫，羣集在妓女家裏。他們像餵飽了的馬，精力旺盛，個個發嘶聲要他鄰舍的妻子。

只有起假誓，謊騙、殺害、偷盜、姦淫、兇暴、殺人流血接着殺人流血。

他們都是犯姦淫的，像火爐被烤餅者燒熱，從摶麵到發酵時暫不使火着旺。

因為連你的族弟兄和你父的家都以詭詐待你，連這些人都大聲追喊着你；他們雖向你說好話，你可不要信他們。』

永恆主啊，我和你辯訴時，你都是對的；但有一個案件、我還要跟你理論。惡人的路為甚麼順利亨通？大行詭詐的為甚麼安享興隆呢？

我有禍啊，因為我寄居在米設，我住在基達的帳棚中！我跟那恨惡和平的人同住太久了。我，我和平；但我一說話，他們便要戰爭。

他們以詭詐待永恆主，因為他們生了私生子。如今侵略者就要吞滅他們的地業了。

猶大人不忠實，遂致在以色列和耶路撒冷之中行了可厭惡的事；因為猶大人褻瀆了永恆主之聖別、就是永恆主所喜愛的，去娶事奉外人之神的女子為妻。

然而他們卻在亞當渡越犯了盟約，在那裏以詭詐待我。

變節的人哪！豈不知與世界為友、就是與上帝為敵麼？所以凡想要做世界朋友的，就把自己立為上帝之仇敵了。

有禍啊我！我好像夏天的果子已被收盡，好像割取了葡萄剩下的零碎，沒有一掛可喫的，也沒有我心所羨慕的早熟無花果。堅貞之士都從國中滅絕了，人類中都沒有正直的了；人人都埋伏着要流人的血；各人都用網羅獵取弟兄。他們的手掌按住壞事物，孜孜以求；首領和審判官企圖着報酬；大官貴人說出他們心中的慾望；一人一動，他們就聯結起來。他們最好的也只像荊棘，最正直的也只像籬笆刺；他們的守望者所說的日子、他們被察罰之日、已經來到；其慌慌亂亂就在眼前了。不要信靠你的同伴，不要信任你的友人；要守住你的嘴脣，別向躺在你懷中的妻子透露。因為兒子辱沒着父親，女兒起來忤逆着母親，兒媳婦忤逆着婆婆；人的仇敵就是他自己家裏的人。至於我呢、我卻要企望着永恆主，我要等候那拯救我、的上帝；我的上帝必聽我。

她的神言人是鹵莽詭詐的人；她的祭司褻瀆聖的所在，對禮節規矩橫加蹧蹋。

我說：『巴不得我有翅膀像鴿子！我就飛走，去安然居住；啊，我竟須遠游，去住宿於曠野呢。（細拉）我要趕到我的逃避所，以脫離狂風暴雨。』

在你裏面有露現你父親的下體而私通繼母的；在你裏面有玷辱正在經期污穢中之不潔淨婦人的。這人跟鄰舍的妻子行可厭惡的事；那人以淫蕩而玷污了自己的兒媳婦；在你裏面還有玷辱自己姐妹、自己同父之姐妹的。
