只隨從自己頑梗的心行事，照他們列祖所教訓的隨從眾巴力。」

只隨從自己心意之頑強，隨從眾巴力，就是他們列祖所教導他們行的。

惟徇己心之剛愎、從諸巴力、即其祖所教者、

乃縱私欲崇事巴力、效祖之尤。

蓋爾之妄行、由爾祖所傳者、爾得贖以脫之、知非以金銀可壞之物、

主曰、毋效爾之列祖、昔日之眾先知曾告之曰、萬有之主如是云、爾當悔改、勿行惡道、勿作惡事、勿行惡道勿作惡事或作離爾惡道惡行彼不聽、不順我、此乃主所言、爾之列祖安在、眾先知豈得永存、

故我念主而勸爾、勿復逞虛妄之心而行、如他異邦人、其心蒙昩、愚頑無知、而棄天主生命之道、既失良心、則自棄、逞其邪侈、貪欲無度、行諸污穢、

祭司不尋我、傳法者不識我、民牧悖逆我、先知託巴力之名而言、從無益之事、

爾豈可曰、我不染污穢、未從巴力、惟觀爾於谷中所行、當自知所為、爾若足疾之牝駝、狂奔亂馳、

昔我眾亦在其內、逞肉體之慾、隨身心所欲而行、本為天主所怒、與他人無異、

主見人在世、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為奸惡、

必循我口所出之言而為、必焚香灌奠、奉事天后、循我平日所為、循昔我列祖與王公、在猶大諸邑、在耶路撒冷街衢所為、當時我得飽食享福、不遇患難、
