The Lord replies,“ This has happened because my people have abandoned my instructions; they have refused to obey what I said.

耶和华说：“因为这百姓离弃我在他们面前所设立的律法，没有遵行，也没有听从我的话；

耶和华说：“这是因为他们弃绝我赐给他们的律法，不听从我的话，不遵守我的命令，

耶和华说：“这是因为他们离弃了我摆在他们面前的律法，不听从我的话，没有遵行我的律法；

耶和華說：「因為這百姓離棄我在他們面前所設立的律法，沒有遵行，也沒有聽從我的話；

耶和華說：「這是因為他們棄絕我賜給他們的律法，不聽從我的話，不遵守我的命令，

耶和華說：“這是因為他們離棄了我擺在他們面前的律法，不聽從我的話，沒有遵行我的律法；

永恆主說：『因為他們撇棄了我的律法，我所擺在他們面前的，而他們不聽我的聲音，也沒有遵行，

耶和華曰、緣彼棄我所示之律、不聽我言、不行我道、

耶和華又曰、彼棄我法、不遵我命。

主曰、此因彼棄我所賜之法、不聽我命、不願遵行、

The Lord said,“ It is because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them; they have not obeyed me or followed my law.

The Lord answered me,“ Because my people have turned away from my law. I gave it to them. But they have not kept it. They have not obeyed me.

And the Lord says:“ Because they have forsaken my law that I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice or walked in accord with it,

The LORD said,“ It is because they abandoned my instruction, which I set before them, and did not obey my voice or walk according to it.

The Lord said,“ Because they have abandoned My Law which I put before them, and have not obeyed My voice nor walked according to it,

And the Lord said,“ Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it,

And Jehovah saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein,

The Lord said,“ It is because they abandoned My instruction that I set in front of them and did not obey My voice or walk according to it.

And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;

The LORD answered,“ This has happened because these people have rejected my laws which I gave them. They have not obeyed me or followed those laws.

Yahweh says,“ Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein,

“ But if you or your descendants abandon me and disobey the decrees and commands I have given you, and if you serve and worship other gods,

And the answer will be,‘ Because they violated their covenant with the Lord their God by worshiping other gods.’”

“ And now, O our God, what can we say after all of this? For once again we have abandoned your commands!

What sorrow awaits rebellious, polluted Jerusalem, the city of violence and crime!No one can tell it anything; it refuses all correction. It does not trust in the Lord or draw near to its God.Its leaders are like roaring lions hunting for their victims. Its judges are like ravenous wolves at evening time, who by dawn have left no trace of their prey.Its prophets are arrogant liars seeking their own gain. Its priests defile the Temple by disobeying God’s instructions.But the Lord is still there in the city, and he does no wrong. Day by day he hands down justice, and he does not fail. But the wicked know no shame.“ I have wiped out many nations, devastating their fortress walls and towers. Their streets are now deserted; their cities lie in silent ruin. There are no survivors— none at all.

But if his descendants forsake my instructions and fail to obey my regulations,if they do not obey my decrees and fail to keep my commands,then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their disobedience with beating.

I become furious with the wicked, because they reject your instructions.

The Lord said to Moses,“ You are about to die and join your ancestors. After you are gone, these people will begin to worship foreign gods, the gods of the land where they are going. They will abandon me and break my covenant that I have made with them.Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say,‘ These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’

To reject the law is to praise the wicked; to obey the law is to fight them.
