谁有智慧明白这事呢？谁曾受过耶和华的指教可以讲解这事呢？为什么这片土地被蹂躏，变得荒凉、杳无人迹？

谁是智慧人可以解明这事？耶和华的口向谁说过，以致他可以传讲这事？为什么这地被毁坏，像旷野般荒凉，无人经过呢？

誰是智慧人，可以明白這事？耶和華的口向誰說過，使他可以傳說？遍地為何滅亡，乾焦好像曠野，甚至無人經過呢？

誰有智慧明白這事呢？誰曾受過耶和華的指教可以講解這事呢？為什麼這片土地被蹂躪，變得荒涼、杳無人跡？

誰是智慧人可以解明這事？耶和華的口向誰說過，以致他可以傳講這事？為甚麼這地被毀壞，像曠野般荒涼，無人經過呢？

孰為智者、克明斯事、耶和華與誰言、使之宣告、斯土何為被燬遭焚、有若曠野、無人經之、

遍地蕭條、恍若沙漠、人蹤罕至、焉得哲人、蒙予啟示、而言其故。

誰為智者、能明此事、誰蒙主諭、能宣示國緣何而滅亡、地緣何而焚燬、成如沙漠、無人來往、

Who is wise enough to understand this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it? Why has the land been ruined and laid waste like a desert that no one can cross?

Who is wise enough to understand these things? Who has been taught by the Lord? Who can explain them? Why has the land been destroyed so completely? Why has it become like a desert that no one can go across?

Who is the man so wise that he can understand this? To whom has the mouth of the Lord spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined and laid waste like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

Who is wise enough to understand all this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it to others? Why has the land been so ruined that no one dares to travel through it?

Who is the person wise enough to understand this? Who has the LORD spoken to, that he may explain it? Why is the land destroyed and scorched like a wilderness, so no one can pass through?

Who is the wise person who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land destroyed, laid waste like the desert, so that no one passes through?

Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that no one can pass through?

Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken, that he may declare it? wherefore is the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that none passeth through?

Who is the man wise enough to understand this? Who has the Lord spoken to, that he may explain it? Why is the land destroyed and scorched like a wilderness, so no one can pass through?

Who[ is] the wise man, that may understand this? and[ who is he] to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth[ and] is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?

I said,“ Who is wise enough to understand why this has happened? Who has a word from the LORD that can explain it? Why does the land lie in ruins? Why is it as scorched as a desert through which no one travels?”

Who is wise enough to understand this? Who is he to whom the mouth of Yahweh has spoken, that he may declare it? Why has the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

誰是智慧人，讓他明白這些事吧！誰是明達人，讓他領會吧！因為永恆主的道路是正直的，義人行走於其中，違犯者卻跌倒於其上。

誰有智慧，願他在這些事上留心；願他思念着永恆主的堅愛。

他使多結果實之地變為鹹地；都因其間居民的邪惡。

這殿必成為荒堆；凡從這裏經過的人都必驚訝嗤笑、說：「永恆主為甚麼辦這地和這殿到這樣呢？」人必回答說：「是因為這地的人離棄了那領他們列祖出埃及地的永恆主他們的上帝，去依附着別的神、而敬拜服事他們；所以永恆主才使這一切災禍臨到他們呀。」』

『將來你把這一切話告訴這人民，他們若問你說：「永恆主為甚麼說要降這一切大災禍來懲罰我們？我們有甚麼罪孽呢？我們是犯了甚麼罪去得罪了永恆主我們的上帝呢？」你就要對他們說：「永恆主發神諭說：是因為你們列祖離棄了我，去隨從別的神，而事奉敬拜他們，卻離棄了我，不遵守我的律法；而你們呢，作壞事又比你們列祖更厲害；你們看，你們各人都隨從自己頑強之壞心思而行，不聽從我；因此我必將你們從這地拋擲出去，直拋到你們素不認識的地，你們和你們列祖都不認識的；在那裏你們儘可以晝夜事奉別的神啊！因為我必不向你們施恩。」

她的王侯在那中間正如吼叫的獅子抓撕所抓到之物；人的性命他們吞滅了，資財和珍寶他們拿取了；他們使寡婦在那中間增多了。她的祭司強解了我的禮節規矩，褻瀆了我的聖物；聖的和俗的他們都不分別，不潔淨的潔淨的他們也不使人分辨，我的安息日他們也掩目不顧，以致我在他們中間都被褻慢了。她的首領在她裏邊正彷彿豺狼抓撕所抓到之物；他們行兇流人的血，殺滅人的性命，要得不義之財。她的神言人用灰水給他們塗抹上，見虛謊的異象，給他們行謊詐的占卜、說：「主永恆主這麼說」，其實永恆主並沒有說。這國的人民一味欺壓人，慣行搶奪，欺負困苦貧窮的，欺壓寄居的、毫無公道。我在他們中間要找一個人來修造藩籬，在我面前為這國站在破口之處，使我不毁滅這國，卻找不着一個。故此我將我的盛怒倒在他們身上，我用我震怒之火去消滅他們，將他們所行的還報與他們頭上：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。』

將來人民若問說：「永恆主我們的上帝為甚麼向我們行這一切事呢？」你就要對他們說：「你們怎樣離棄了我，在你們的地上事奉外人的神，你們也必怎樣在不屬於你們的地上服事外族人。」』你們要在雅各家宣告這事，要在猶大公布說：

『「必有許多國的人要經過這城，彼此對問說：『永恆主為甚麼這樣罰辦這個大城呢？』他們就必回答說：『是因為他們離棄了永恆主他們的上帝的約，去敬拜服事別的神呀。』」』

『後代的人、你們以後興起來的子孫、和從遠方來的外族人、看見這地所受的疫災、和永恆主用來擊打這地的病症，又看見遍地有硫磺、有鹽鹵、有火迹，沒有播種，沒有生產，連草都不長，好像所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁傾覆的景象，就是永恆主在怒氣怒火中所傾覆的，這些看見的人、和萬國人必都說：「永恆主為甚麼這樣辦此地呢？這樣大的烈怒是甚麼意思呢？」那麼人就必說：「是因為這地的人背棄了他們列祖的上帝的約，背棄了上帝在領他們出埃及時與他們所立的約，去事奉敬拜別的神；這些神是他們素來不認識的，是永恆主所沒有分給他們去敬拜的；因此永恆主向這地發怒，將這書上所寫的一切咒詛都帶到這地來；而永恆主在怒氣烈怒中、在大震怒中、就把他們從他們的土地上拔出來，給丟在別的地上、像今日一樣。」

那宣讀這神言傳講之話的、和那些聽而遵守其中所記載的、都有福氣；因為時機近了。

只要他們有智慧，就會明白這事，就肯思想他們自己的結局了。

你們看見他們所行所作的，他們就會使你們心平氣靜下來，你們也就知道我在耶路撒冷中所行的一切事並不是無緣無故地：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。』

『所以你們幾時看見由神言人但以理所說那「引致荒涼的可憎之像」立在聖地上（誦讀的人須要了悟啊）；
