埃及的子民哪，上基列去取止痛乳香吧！你雖多用良藥，總是徒然，新肉你總不長的。

『因為永恆主這麼說：你的破爛無法醫治，你受的擊傷很厲害。沒有人為你伸訴，以擠乾傷處；醫治的藥長肉之方你都沒有。你的親愛者都忘記了你，都不來探望你；因為我曾用仇敵加的擊傷擊傷了你，用殘忍者的懲罰懲罰了你，都因你罪孽之眾多、你罪惡之重大、的緣故。你為甚麼因你的破爛而哀呼你痛苦之無法醫治呢？我將這些刑罰施在你身上、都因你罪孽之眾多，你罪惡之重大呀。故此凡吞喫你的必被吞喫；你的敵人個個都必被擄而去；搶掠你的、必成為被擄物，掠劫你的、我都必使他們成為被掠物。因為我必使新肉在你身上長起來；你受的擊傷、我必醫治，永恆主發神諭說，因為人稱你為「被放逐者」，說：「這是錫安，乾透了之地，無人來探望的！」

突然間巴比倫傾倒破毁了！你們為她哀號哦！拿乳香去止她的疼痛哦！或者她可以得治好啊！

有一個女人患了血漏病已經十二年了；都沒有人能治好她。

他們的父親以色列就對他們說：『既然如此，那你們就這樣作吧。拿此地人人稱讚的物產，收在器具裏，帶下去給那人做禮物：一點乳香、一點葡萄蜜、香料、沒藥、榧子，杏仁。

耶穌回答他們說：『康健的沒有需要醫生，有病的才有需要。我來不是要召義人，乃是要召罪人悔改。』

法利賽人看見，就對耶穌的門徒說：『你們的先生為甚麼跟收稅人和「罪人」一同喫飯呢？』耶穌聽見就說：『強壯的不需要醫生，有病的才有需要。

你們為甚麼悖逆了又悖逆，要繼續受責打呢？嘿，滿頭創痍，滿心全發暈。從腳掌到頭頂、沒有一處完全；盡是創傷、鞭痕、和流血的傷口；沒有擠乾，沒有綁紮，沒有用膏油滋潤着。
