Listen to the cry of my people from a land far away:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King no longer there?”“ Why have they aroused my anger with their images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

听啊，是我百姓的哀声从极远之地而来，说：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么以雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神惹我发怒呢？”

听啊，是我百姓呼救的声音从远地传来：“耶和华不是在锡安吗？锡安的王不是在其中吗？”“他们为什么以自己雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神明惹我发怒呢？”

听啊！远处传来我同胞的哀鸣：“难道耶和华不在锡安了吗？难道她的王不在她那里了吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么供奉雕刻的神像和外族无用的偶像，惹我发怒？”

听啊！我同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）的呼救声，从遥远之地传来：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”“他们为什么以自己雕刻的偶像，和列国虚无的偶像，来惹我发怒呢？”

聽啊，是我百姓的哀聲從極遠之地而來，說：耶和華不在錫安嗎？錫安的王不在其中嗎？耶和華說：他們為甚麼以雕刻的偶像和外邦虛無的神惹我發怒呢？

聽啊，我子民的呼救聲，從遼闊之地而來，說：『永恆主不在錫安麼？錫安的王不在其中麼？』永恆主說：『他們為甚麼以他們的雕像、外人虛無的神、來惹我發怒呢？』

有我民女哀號之聲、來自遠方、曰、耶和華不在錫安乎、厥王不在其中乎、曰、彼胡為以雕像、及異邦之虛物、激我怒耶、

我民號呼於遠方曰、大君耶和華、豈非護衛郇邑者哉耶和華曰、彼崇事偶像及異邦人無靈之物、干我震怒。

我民哀號之聲、自遠方而來曰、主豈不在郇乎、郇豈無君乎、主曰、彼何崇拜偶像、及異邦虛無之神、干犯我怒哉、

Listen to the cries of my people from a land far away. They cry out,“ Isn’t the Lord in Zion? Isn’t its King there anymore?” The Lord says,“ Why have they made me so angry by worshiping their wooden gods? Why have they made me angry with their worthless statues of gods from other lands?”

Behold, the cry of the daughter of my people from the length and breadth of the land:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not in her?”“ Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and with their foreign idols?”

Listen to the weeping of my people; it can be heard all across the land.“ Has the Lord abandoned Jerusalem?” the people ask.“ Is her King no longer there?”“ Oh, why have they provoked my anger with their carved idols and their worthless foreign gods?” says the Lord.

Listen— the cry of my dear people from a faraway land,“ Is the LORD no longer in Zion, her King not within her?” Why have they angered me with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?

Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”“ Why have they provoked Me with their carved images, with foreign idols?”

Listen! The voice, The cry of the daughter of my people From a far country:“ Is not the Lord in Zion? Is not her King in her?”“ Why have they provoked Me to anger With their carved images— With foreign idols?”

Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: is not Jehovah in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with foreign vanities?

Listen— the cry of my dear people from a far away land,“ Is the Lord no longer in Zion, her King not within her?” Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country:[ Is] not the LORD in Zion?[ is] not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images,[ and] with strange vanities?

I hear my dear people crying out throughout the length and breadth of the land. They are crying,‘ Is the LORD no longer in Zion? Is her divine King no longer there?’” The LORD answers,“ Why then do they provoke me to anger with their images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off:“ Isn’t Yahweh in Zion? Isn’t her King in her?”“ Why have they provoked me to anger with their engraved images, and with foreign idols?”

Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked,“ What did those men say, and where did they come from?”“ From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied.“ They came to me from Babylon.”

They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens— the Lord and the weapons of his wrath— to destroy the whole country.

“ Tell this to the nations, proclaim concerning Jerusalem:‘ A besieging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry against the cities of Judah.They surround her like men guarding a field, because she has rebelled against me,’” declares the Lord.

What are you doing, you devastated one? Why dress yourself in scarlet and put on jewels of gold? Why highlight your eyes with makeup? You adorn yourself in vain. Your lovers despise you; they want to kill you.I hear a cry as of a woman in labor, a groan as of one bearing her first child— the cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands and saying,“ Alas! I am fainting; my life is given over to murderers.”

I will scatter them among nations that neither they nor their ancestors have known, and I will pursue them with the sword until I have made an end of them.”

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.

Shall I leave their innocent blood unavenged? No, I will not.” The Lord dwells in Zion!

For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.

Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror.

Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”

The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord.

There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim,‘ Come, let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’”

Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. None of them repent of their wickedness, saying,“ What have I done?” Each pursues their own course like a horse charging into battle.

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.

Praise be to the Lord from Zion, to him who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the Lord.

Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance.

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.

They made him jealous with their foreign gods and angered him with their detestable idols.They sacrificed to false gods, which are not God— gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your ancestors did not fear.You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.The Lord saw this and rejected them because he was angered by his sons and daughters.“ I will hide my face from them,” he said,“ and see what their end will be; for they are a perverse generation, children who are unfaithful.They made me jealous by what is no god and angered me with their worthless idols. I will make them envious by those who are not a people; I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.
