“ So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

耶利米啊，你將這番話告訴他們，他們也不會聽；你向他們呼籲，他們也不會回應。

“你要把這一切話告訴他們，他們卻不聽從你；你呼叫他們，他們也不回應。

『你要將這一切話告訴他們，雖則他們不聽從；你要呼喚他們，儘管他們不應；

爾將告以斯言、惟彼不聽、爾將呼之、惟彼不應、

上帝告先知曰、爾雖有命、民不聽從、爾雖招徠、民不應命。

爾耶利米以此言告之、彼仍不聽爾、爾招之來、彼仍不應爾、

“ When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.

“ Jeremiah, when you tell them all this, they will not listen to you. When you call out to them, they will not answer.

“ So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

“ Tell them all this, but do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings, but do not expect them to respond.

“ When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you.

“ Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

And thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

“ When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

Then the LORD said to me,“ When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you. When you call out to them, they will not respond to you.

“ You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah who have come to worship in the Lord’s house all the words that I have commanded you to speak to them. Do not omit a word!

But the Lord said to me,“ Do not say,‘ I am a youth,’ Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, And all that I command you, you shall speak.

And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen,” says the Lord of armies;

I will destine you for the sword, And all of you will bow down to the slaughter. Because I called, but you did not answer; I spoke, but you did not listen. Instead, you did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight.”

Why was there no one when I came? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot redeem? Or do I have no power to rescue? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I turn rivers into a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water, And die of thirst.

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on listening, but do not understand; And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’Make the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes blind, So that they will not see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.”

So I am sending you to those who are impudent and obstinate children, and you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:’As for them, whether they listen or not— for they are a rebellious house— they will know that a prophet has been among them.And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.When I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way so that he may live, that wicked person shall die for wrongdoing, but his blood I will require from your hand.

For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel,nor to many peoples of unintelligible speech or difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. But I have sent you to the people who understand you;yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. The entire house of Israel certainly is stubborn and obstinate.Behold, I have made your face just as hard as their faces, and your forehead just as hard as their foreheads.Like emery harder than flint I have made your forehead. Do not be afraid of them or be dismayed before them, since they are a rebellious house.”Moreover, He said to me,“ Son of man, take into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and listen closely.Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not,‘ This is what the Lord God says.’ ”

And they will fight against you but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to save you,” declares the Lord.
