昔以示羅為籲我名之所、以色列族作惡、我既有以處之矣。爾可往觀。

你们且往示罗去，就是我先前立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓以色列的罪恶向那地所行的如何。”

“‘你们去我曾选为我名所在之地的示罗，看看我是怎样因我以色列子民的罪而惩罚那地方的。

你請到我的地方，就是那在示羅的，我起先使我的名居住的所在，去察看我因我人民以色列的邪惡對那地所行的怎麼樣。

可往示羅、昔我寄名之所、視我為我民以色列邪惡、所行之事、

昔示羅有我殿、我使我名在彼、因我民以色列作惡、我廢棄矣、爾可往觀、

“‘ Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

“‘ “Go now to the town of Shiloh. Go to the place where I first made a home for my Name. See what I did to it because of the evil things my people Israel were doing.

Go now to my place that was in Shiloh, where I made my name dwell at first, and see what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.

“‘ Go now to the place at Shiloh where I once put the Tabernacle that bore my name. See what I did there because of all the wickedness of my people, the Israelites.

非利士人遂戰、敗以色列族、使各歸故幕、大戮其眾、死者三萬。上帝之匱見奪、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈被殺。

上帝之室、時在示羅、但族立米迦所作之偶像。

則我必棄此殿宇、與昔棄示羅無異、使此邑為列邦所詛。

又曰、上帝之匱見奪、以色列之榮去矣。

斯土既服、以色列會眾集於示羅、而立會幕、

昔上帝在人間、擇示羅之幕以駐蹕、今則遐棄之兮、尊榮之法匱、斯民所恃、茲為敵所遷兮、所得之民、怒之甚烈、俾亡於刃兮、丁男燬於火、處女不奏房中之樂兮、祭司死於兵、嫠婦不作哭泣之歌兮。

民歸營時、以色列長老議曰、耶和華今日使我敗於非利士人前、曷故。盍攜耶和華約匱、自示羅至此、可援我於敵手。當時有居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬物主耶和華之約匱在示羅、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈在側、民遣使詣彼、以攜之至。

則所命之燔祭、禮物、所應輸之什一、所奉獻、所許願、以供耶和華者、俱必攜之、至爾上帝耶和華所簡之室、籲名之所、

以利迦拿歲住示羅、崇拜祭祀萬有之主耶和華、時以利二子何弗尼非尼哈為耶和華之祭司。

爾之上帝耶和華、於爾支派中、特簡一室、為爾族籲名之所、爾必詣斯室以禱告。
