Because you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, and his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, but his blood I will require at your hand.But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and you will have delivered your soul.”

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city, unless the Lord has done it?“ For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy?”
